our story
Before they were founders, Najia and Sara were aunt and niece, connected by something quiet and instinctive. Despite the age difference, they have always shared the same sensitivity, the same attention to detail, and the same way of seeing beauty. Creating LYZÏA was never a strategy. It felt natural.
Najia left Morocco at 18 to build her life in the United States, where she later opened her own skincare center in New York, specializing in advanced facials and restorative treatments focused on strengthening the skin. Even after selling her center, skincare remains part of her identity, a lifelong passion rooted in expertise and care.
Sara also left Morocco at 18, but for France. Living abroad shaped them in different ways, yet deepened their shared attachment to their origins. Over the years, they explored countless products and routines, only to realize they were searching everywhere for what had always been part of their heritage.
They returned to their roots in Morocco , to the land, the argan trees, and the women who preserve traditional extraction methods. They were not looking for blends or artificial fragrance. They were looking for purity.
Looking at photographs of their grandmothers, they were always struck by the same thing: luminous, resilient, radiant skin. The ritual was simple, argan oil and prickly pear seed oil. Nothing excessive. Just consistency and intention.
LYZÏA was born from that return to origin. Named with the future in mind, it represents the generation they nurture and the traditions they carry forward. Our oils are completely pure, no added perfume, no softened scent, only the raw ingredient in its most honest form.
Today, between the United States and France, Najia and Sara share this Moroccan heritage with women and men seeking skincare that is simple, conscious, and rooted in tradition.
